Personal Mandala Portrait™ Testimonials
Clare created a personal mandala for [us] for our wedding. It hangs on the east wall of our bedroom like a bright rising sun, and every time I look at it I remember our first experience together when we opened it: it looks like US! As time goes on in our marriage this first impression becomes more and more true; the mandala deepens and seems to take on a wisdom of its own, as if my wife and I were having an evolving relationship with it. I think there is more than projection or shared delusion at work here. Rather, we believe that Clare is genuinely able to funnel some wonderful creative knowing into her mandala work. It is really a personal, living thing for us, in addition to being a beautiful, one of a kind object of art. If you are thinking about having a personal mandala done, we could recommend no better place. If you're not thinking about it, start! There is really nothing quite like the personal touch that Barbara's art may bring into your life.

I have the privilege of having two mandalas created by Clare. Both have been totally different experiences. The first mandala was initially a great disappointment, in that the 'soul' portrayed was so very sad it was hard to look upon it. Under Clare's direction, I placed the mandala so that I had to walk in front of it multiple times a day. Slowly, the mandala began to change - it matured and blossomed and grew joyful. Not surprisingly, as did I. I worked with this mandala for nearly 10 years, until it clearly had served its purpose. I am currently journeying with my second mandala, which both leads me on a spiritual journey and reflects my progress.

I love my personal mandala, but even more fun than my own was having Clare make mandalas for my kids and for the newborns that my friends have had. It's a great joy to see, in the form of beautiful art, a picture of a baby's spirit.

My personal mandala is alive with energy. I am moved by the pulsating beauty that radiates from it's center. The pinks and oranges sometimes appear golden. The dark purples and indigo take me to the depth of my soul and then I am in the illuminated center again. The criss cross design around the center represents my earth walk. My personal mandala is my own unique drop of the Divine Nectar.
