My wife Clare has been drawing and painting mandalas for nearly thirty years. When we got our first home computer in the mid-nineties, she was frustrated by the difficulty of creating these radially symmetrical designs with the software tools available.

Always the helpful husband, I set out to create a tool that would assist her in expanding her art to this new electronic medium. MandalaMaker™ is the result. And while graphics applications have grown increasingly more complex and sophisticated since then, they still don’t address the radial symmetry issue as cleanly as MandalaMaker.

The program allows you to create designs of many kinds, from traditional Tibetan style mandalas, to striking contemporary art. MandalaMaker draws black and white line art as well as full color illustrations. Your mandalas can be saved to disk or you can export your images as GIF or JPEG files, which can be opened and enhanced in many other graphics applications. You can also print high resolution mandalas directly from MandalaMaker.
